Kyoshin Poseidon Players

A team that was underestimated until new rookie stars showed up and made Kyoshin’s the tallest football team in all of Japan. In addition to being tall, the players of Poseidon have great technique, making their defense deadly.

Kakei Shun
	Birthday: 6/6 Year: 1st / Gr. 10 Jersey #: 41 Position: Linebacker 40 Yard Dash: 4.9 sec Bench Press: 95 kg
Kakei is without a doubt one of the top-class linebackers in Japan, and also a very dedicated and serious athlete. He played football in America when he was in middle school and met a legendary Japanese running back called Eyeshield 21. This man inspired him to become the ace of his Middle School, but he went back to Japan before Kakei could play him again. Kakei now plays football in Japan in hopes of meeting this player again, and wants to beat Sena whom he calls a “fake” Eyeshield 21. As a player, Kakei makes great use of his unnatural height and reach to crush any offense.
Mizumachi Kengo
	Birthday: 12/31 Year: 1st / Gr. 10 Jersey #: 71 Position: Tackle/Defensive Tackle 40 Yard Dash: 5.0 sec Bench Press: 90 kg
Mizumachi was formerly on the swim team, but joined football instead after finding out they were aiming for Nationals. He incorporates his talent for swimming as well as his awesome height in his play-style. Unlike the serious Kakei, Mizumachi is energetic and sometimes overly hyper, but he is still just as dedicated. He thinks of Komusubi from the Devilbats as a rival.
Kobanzame Osamu
	Birthday: 9/9 Year: 3rd / Gr. 12 Jersey #: 14 Position: Quarterback/Team Captain 40 Yard Dash: 5.7 sec Bench Press: 40 kg
A veteran of the Poseidons, Kobanzame doesn’t exhibit any awesome talents like his younger teammates. It seems sometimes he feels overshadowed by the new “stars” of Poseidon, but it is obvious that no matter what he is a captain who wants the best for his teammates. He may be afraid of the 1st years thinking badly of him, but the truth is that they respect him.
