for those who always read Part 2 update, from the beginning till the latest new chapter, must've known the ironic case of Gaara. however, we're really happy to see him back from death in chapter 279. thus to celebrate the revival of our Suna hero, we decided to make a special page for Gaara's biography. inumako dedicated this to her lil bro and Shi-kun who love Gaara to the bones.

Sabaku no Gaara
born as a reject, Gaara could hardly love anyone including himself. his late father, the Yondaime Kazekage, sealed a malicious desert demon, Shukaku, into his body when he was a newly baby born. Gaara's indeed just a normal kid who wants to make friends with anyone. yet people saw him as a menace and scared of him to death. thus he grew in loneliness and hatred towards others but himself.

Gaara lived by believing that he was born to kill others and to love himself. as Shukaku settled inside him, Gaara was a perfect 'weapon' for Sunagakure. yet he was too strong and unstable that even his father wanted him to die for good. nevertheless, his furious battle with Naruto has enlightened his heart and changed his false belief. since then Gaara feels like he had a huge debt to Naruto and backed up Konoha in a battle against Otonin.

Godaime Kazekage-sama
the biggest change in Gaara is when he decided to become the next Kazekage. inspired by none other than Naruto, he wanted to change his wrong path. he wanted to bond with and live for his home village, Sunagakure. also to be needed, not as a frightening weapon but as Suna's Kazekage. however, it seems his fate was truly hard. in his new days as Kazekage he has to face a terrible calamity...

far from prediction, Akatsuki made their next move by ambushing Sunagakure. two members were sent, Deidara and Sasori. their main objective is to abduct the one-tailed, Shukaku (in other words, Gaara). as a Kazekage, Gaara halted them on the first place. yet Deidara was too smart, with a cunning tactic he could defeate Gaara. however, it was for the first time Gaara did his best to protect his homevillage, Sunagakure.

Naruto came with his own will to save Gaara but he's too late, Akatsuki has extracted the Shukaku from Gaara's body and it leads Gaara to death. Naruto and Kakashi chased Deidara who's carrying Gaara. thanx to Kakashi with his new-type Mangekyou sharingan, they won the battle. then Chiyo-baa with her last remaining chakra, assisted by Naruto, made to revive Gaara from his eternal sleep.

SIBLINGS AND RELATIVES
the elder sister of Suna shinobi, Temari. she's the strongest kunoichi at her age. Temari controls wind with her life-sized paper fan. the trio were born from different mothers and Gaara is the youngest amongst them. however, as an elder sister Temari cares of his younger brothers esp. Gaara. and eversince Gaara became Kazekage, their relationship seems to more friendly than before.

Gaara's step elder brother, Kankurou. at first, he had an awkward relationship with Gaara since Gaara didn't see him as sibling. Kankurou was dubious about Gaara's promotion as Kazekage, yet after he heard the motivation beneath it all, he realized that Gaara has changed. Kankurou was the first one who tried to halt Akatsuki from abducting Gaara, unfortunately he was poisoned by Sasori.

Yashamaru is probably the only man Gaara ever trusted (before he met Naruto). he is the lil brother of Gaara's mother, Karura (in other words, Gaara's uncle). he was entrusted to take care off lil Gaara after Karura died. however, Yashamaru bore malice towards Gaara for causing his sister's death. he was secretly assigned by the 4th Kazekage (Gaara's father) to assassinate Gaara. this incident has severly hurt Gaara's soul.

Chiyo-baa is introduced in Naruto Part 2. she joined voluntary with Sakura cs, in order to defeat his deviated grandson, Sasori. her short encounter with Sakura and Naruto has changed her negative perceptions upon others. Chiyo is probably the strongest puppet-master shinobi in Sunagakure. however, age has weakened her, she almost lost her life during the battle with Sasori. at last, she traded her life to revive Gaara from death.

THE BEST FELLA
it's not overwhelming at all to state that Naruto is Gaara's best fella. they may not really intimate yet undoubtedly Naruto has changed Gaara. Naruto indeed inspired many people (including us ^ ^") even Chiyo-baba acknowledged him. after the battle of Shukaku vs Gamabunta, Gaara realized that he could change his hateful path with love as Naruto did. furthermore, Naruto is the one who knows best of Gaara's pain.
